Mengulang sukses brand beras Garut 1001 bukan hal mudah. Banyak kendala yang dihadapi Andris Wijaya. Meski begitu, ia tetap bertekad membesarkan bisnis tersebut, dengan mengusung strategi oleh-oleh khas Garut. Sejak 2011, inovasi perdana berupa nasi liwet instan diluncurkan. Di luar dugaan, produk inovasi itu mendapat sambutan hangat dari masyarakat.
"Saya bermimpi, produk ini bisa menjadi oleh-oleh khas Garut, sehingga pamor beras asli Garut bisa kembali seperti dulu," ucapnya.
Maka, sejumlah strategi pemasaran ditempuhnya. Selain menitipkan nasi instan ke sejumlah toko, Andris juga rutin mengikuti pameran koperasi hingga dinas pariwisata ke beberapa daerah.

Melalui CV 1001, Andris Wijaya menciptakan inovasi olahan pangan dari beras Garut. Kini, nasi liwet dan nasi uduk instan buatannya mulai digandrungi. Selain jadi buah tangan khas Garut, juga sudah dipasarkan ke berbagai wilayah Indonesia.
Jika berkunjung ke Garut, ada buah tangan unik yang sedang digandrungi, yaitu nasi liwet dan nasi uduk instan. Adalah Andris Wijaya yang mempopulerkannya. Di bawah CV 1001, ia berinovasi mengolah beras asli Garut menjadi panganan instan itu. Memang, berjualan beras Garut merek 1001 merupakan usaha yang dirintis ayahnya sejak 1975.
Awalnya, tak pernah terlintas di benak Andris untuk menjadi wirausahawan. Ia justru ingin menjadi ahli di bidang teknik mesin. Karena itulah, pria asli Garut ini kuliah jurusan teknik mesin di Institut Tekhnologi Bandung. Setelah lulus pada 2001, ia bekerja di sebuah perusahaan minyak ternama di tanah air. Namun, ketika karirnya sedang menanjak, ia harus memilih antara karir atau mengikuti permintaan sang ibu.

Garut (ANTARA News) - Sejumlah negara Eropa tertarik untuk memasarkan beras liwet siap saji "seribu satu" (1001) merupakan produk kreativitas dari Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat.
"Nasi liwet 1001 sudah sampai ke luar negeri tapi belum secara resmi, kalau yang resmi yaitu tawaran dari beberapa negara di Eropa dan Singapura yang meminta untuk dikirim," kata pemimpin perusahaan Beras Liwet "1001" Andris Wijaya di pabrik pengolahan beras di Kampung Banjarsari, Desa/Kecamatan Samarang, Garut, Rabu.
Permintaan itu, kata Andris datang melalui distributor Kokita di Indonesia, yang akan memasarkan beras 1001 di beberapa negara Eropa.
Namun permintaan pasar ke negara Eropa itu, kata Andris belum dapat dilakukan, karena masih perlu dikaji agar produk beras liwet siap saji tersebut dapat diterima oleh orang asing.

Nasi liwet ini dibuat seperti halnya mie instant. Tinggal seduh, dan semua bumbu serta perlengkapan lain ada dalam satu paket di dalamnya. Paket ini diberi nama nasi liwet instan 1001 oleh pembuatnya asal Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat.

ANDRIS Wijaya kaget bukan kepalang. Dia tak mengira nasi liwet instan ciptaannya mampu menyabet Anugerah Inovasi Jawa Barat (AIJB) 2012 kategori bidang pangan.
Perjuangan lelaki kelahiran Garut 34 tahun silam ini memang tak mudah. Namun, berkat ketelatenannya, Andris mampu mengangkat kuliner tradisional Jawa Barat menjadi olahan kuliner modern. Pengolahan liwet yang biasanya rumit, kini sudah praktis seperti membuat mi instan.
